Bouncing back in 2023

The Cyclones opened the second half of their season with a needed 79-53 win over Olive-Harvey College.

Coming into this game, the Panthers were 9-3 while Moraine Valley held steady at .500. Both teams started out slow with the Cyclones down early. They came back to tie the score at nine with five minutes left in the first quarter and then went on a run to take a 15-9 lead. Reagan Cameron gave her team the edge by halftime (38-21), leading the offense with 11 points with Janiyah Hilliard close behind with 10 points.

The Cyclones continued to dominate the rest of the game and held onto the lead until the final 26-point victory.

Cameron ended the night with 25 points, including sinking all seven free throw attempts, while Hilliard finished with a season high 21 points, 14 rebounds and five steals. Aubree Schultz added 13 points and six assists, and Jayla Lamb grabbed 10 boards.
