The Cyclones topped off their regular season with a decent 60-42 victory at home over Bay College (MI).

This was the first time these two teams have ever met. It was a close first quarter with both teams battling to the basket, giving Moraine Valley a narrow 18-16 lead. That pace continued into the second quarter but with a much less intense offensive attack from either team. By halftime, the Cyclones were only up 26-23. It wasn't until the third quarter where the Cyclones had a surge, going on a scoring run to pull away from the Norse and holding them to eight points. They continued to push to the end for the victory.

Katchie Savic led the offense with 16 points, adding six assists and five steals to the effort. Maggie Manthey tacked on 13 points. Briana Sanchez continued leading under the basket with eight rebounds; she also added two blocks.

The Cyclones start their playoff run on Feb. 23, 6 p.m. at home in the quarterfinas with Milwaukee Area Technical College.
