Short-handed and short ended

In one of their final games of the season, the Cyclones were missing a few starters and couldn't surpass Oakton Community College, losing 63-55.

The Cyclones never let the Owls run away with this game, but they weren't able to go on a scoring run of their own. They held the Owls to a tie after the first quarter and were down by one going into halftime (32-31). It was a rough third quarter that kept the Cyclones down, they were only able to score 11 to the Owls' 17. It didn't help that two Cyclone starters were out with injuries, but they should return for Thursday's matchup.

Kirsten Kamholz led the effort with 12 points and seven rebounds. Katchie Savic finished with 11 points, eight assists, seven steals and six rebounds. Kelsey Kelley scored nine points and grabbed six rebounds.
