Right out of the gate the Cyclones were able to create a comfy lead to take a 71-42 win from Elgin Community College.

The Cyclones created some steady scoring, getting ahead 21-13 after the first quarter. Although their offense slowed a bit in the second quarter with both teams scoring 10, the Cyclones were still able to hold a 31-23 halftime lead. The rest of the game saw Moraine Valley run away and hold the Spartans.

Reagan Cameron led the offense with 18 points while Katchie Savic collected 14 points, five steals and five assists. Kirsten Kamholz added 13 points. Janiyah "Jay" Hilliard was big under the basket with eight rebounds.
