The Cyclones came out with their offensive wheels churning as they earned a 67-41 victory over Elgin Community College.

From tipoff, the Cyclones took control of the game, scoring 21 points in the first quarter alone and holding the Spartans to nine. They nearly repeated that effort in the third quarter, slowing down the offense in second and final quarters. However, the Cyclones did not relinquish the lead in this game, coasting to victory at the end.

Maggie Manthey had a big night with 13 points, three steals and led with eight rebounds. Katchie Savic led the offense with 16 points while adding five rebounds. Kirsten Kamholz contributed 12 points and six rebounds while Bashirah Muhammad was the fourth double-digit scorer with 10.
