Cyclones take down Wolves

There were a few close moments in the Cyclones' matchup with Joliet Junior College, but they were able to pull away in the fourth quarter for a 73-59 victory on the road.

Moraine Valley opened the game with energy for a lead, but the Wolves bounced back with three three-pointers to stay close. In the second quarter, the Cyclones started to pull away, leading by as much as 17. However, the Wolves continued to fight, leaving the Cyclones with only a 40-33 lead at halftime. Joliet closed the gap to three points in the third quarter, but the Cyclones eventually regained momentum on offense to close out the game.

Katchie Savic continued to lead the offense with 15 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists. Briana Sanchez added a season high 13 points and 10 rebounds. Reagan Cameron hit a few big three-pointers to finish with 10 points.
