Dominant rout of Eagles

The Cyclones shut down the visiting Illinois Valley Community College Eagles in a 79-52 rout.

Right from the start, the Cyclones dominated the court, getting to the basket and stopping the Eagles from scoring. In the first quarter alone, the Cyclones held them to nine points while scoring a game high 24. By halftime, they were ahead 43-25. Although they lightened the offense, the Cyclones still put up decent numbers the remainder of the game for the victory.

Freshman Mary Chronopoulou had a breakout night with a team-leading 23 points and six rebounds. She went 3-for-4 from the three-point line alone. Bashirah Muhammad banked 10 points while Kirsten Kamholz scored nine with five rebounds. Katchie Savic led with four steals and added four assists.
