In their third meeting this season, the Cyclones fell 88-80 for the first time to conference foe Waubonsee Community College.

In their other encounters, the Cyclones won each matchup by more than 20. This game saw more hot and cold playing. With Kirsten Kamholz out in the first quarter, the Cyclones struggled and were down 26-15. They bounced back in the second quarter (26-16) for the 41-37 lead at halftime. Kamholz led the offense with 11 points. The Cyclones led by as much as nine moving forward, but a 10-4 run by the Chiefs found the Cyclones only up three with one quarter to go. Moraine Valley went cold in the fourth and suffered the loss.

Kamholz led with 29 points and 10 rebounds, and Chelsea Cross added 20. Nicole Poole had a game-high 14 rebounds and tossed in eight points.
