Cyclones denied by Stormers

After a hitting barrage in their games the day before, the Cyclones were tamped down against Milwaukee Area Technical College.

GAME ONE
The Cyclones had nine hits in this game with the Stormers, but were unable to get more runners across the plate, falling 14-3.

The game was close at the start, but it wasn't until the final two innings that the Stormers ramped up the runs. The Cyclones first scored in the third inning when Millie Redican (1-for-3) had a double. Two outs later, Annabelle Rush (2-for-3, RBI) hit a grounder to centerfield to score Redican. A few singles in the bottom of the fifth scored a second run with the RBI going to Marissa Walsh (1-for-3, RBI).

In their last at-bat, Madelynn Larmon (1-for-2) rocked a triple and scored when Stephanie Lohman grounded out.

GAME TWO
Despite collecting six hits to the Stormers' eight, the Cyclones lost the second game 10-2.

The Stormers scored all their runs in the first three innings before Moraine Valley shut them down. However, the Cyclones were stunted at the plate. All the hits came from Rush (1-for-2, 3B), Estelle Loth (1-for-3), Keira Clancy (1-for-3), Larmon (1-for-2) and Walsh (2-for-2) with both RBIs.
