In their second day of the Skyway vs. Arrowhead Conference Clash, the Cyclones battled through two losses.

GAME ONE
The Cyclones went toe-to-toe with Sandburg College, falling just short in the 1-0 loss. A nearly even matchup, the Cyclones had four hits to the Chargers' six. It was just due to some errors that allowed Sandburg to get one runner across the plate in the third inning.

Alexandra Wolcott threw a solid game, striking out seven and only walking three over seven innings. Emma Hansen, Madelynn Larmon, Millie Redican and Wolcott were the only four to earn hits this game.

GAME TWO
Although the Cyclones were able to collect more hits in their game with Illinois Valley Community College, it wasn't enough for the hitting antics of the Eagles.

The game was knotted at 0-0 until the fourth inning when the Eagles ran nine across the plate and followed it up in the next inning with three. The bottom of the fifth is where the Cyclones were finally able to score some runs. Keira Clancy (1-for-3) had a big two-run homerun to help her team get on the board, but it wasn't enough. Hansen and Estelle Loth were each 2-for-3 this game while Annabelle Rush, Stephanie Lohman, Larmon and Karla Ayala each added one hit.
