They beat the rain, but it was another rough couple of games for the Cyclones as they lost two to Black Hawk College.

GAME ONE
Despite having the same number of hits as the Braves, the Cyclones just couldn't collect any runs as they fell 8-0.

In every inning, at least one Cyclone got on base – Emma Hansen (2-for-3), Brooklynn Sedlak (1-for-3), Estelle Loth (1-for-3), Annabelle Rush (1-for-2), Keira Clancy (1-for-2) and Stephanie Lohman (1-for-2) – but couldn't capitalize on the base runners this game.

GAME TWO
The Cyclones held a narrow 1-0 lead in this game until the bottom of the fourth inning, ultimately being edged out 4-1.

Moraine Valley first scored on consecutive errors by the Braves in the second inning, but were unable to get things going after that. Only Sedlak and Loth had hits this game. On the mound, Sedlak kept the Braves at bay, striking out four over six innings.
