The Cyclones doubleheader with McHenry County College was relegated to a single game, and Moraine Valley made the most of their offense in a 13-4 victory.
Moraine Valley scored in five out of six innings, including two four-run innings. With combined efforts on the mound and at the plate, it was Brooklynn Sedlak's game. She went 3-for-4 with a triple and 5 RBIs at bat, and in the circle she struck out eight batters and allowed just two earned runs. Brialynn Mica (2-for-3, 3B) and Estelle Loth (2-for-4) each had 2 RBIs while Keira Clancy (2-for-3) also drove in a run. The game came to an early end when the Scots suffered too many injured players to field a complete team.
