It's always a tough matchup when the Cyclones face Kankakee Community College. Their first doubleheader with the Cavaliers this season was no different as they lost both games.

In the first game, the Cyclones lost 14-0, getting hits from Ruby Amigon and Emma Hansen. They held the Cavaliers to zero runs in the second inning seeing three batters go up and down in quick succession. Nearly the same scenario happened in the third inning after the Cavaliers tripled, then the Cyclones did not allow them to score.

Moraine Valley lost the second game 12-0 with Stephanie Lohman getting the lone single in the third inning. The Cyclones had their best inning in the second once again when the Cavaliers had three singles to load the bases, but they weren't allowed any runs.
