Consistent scoring yields big win

The Cyclones scored in each inning of their matchup with Oakton Community College, winning the affair 11-3.

In the first inning, the Cyclones were able to plate four runs, which began with a fielding error to start the scoring. They held the Owls' offense until the fifth inning when they scored three, but it was too late for any comeback and the Cyclones earned the win.

Arianna Andersen, Ashley Roberts and Nicole Wagner each earned one RBI while Danielle Travis (2-for-4, 3B), Abbie Wantroba (2-for-2, 3B) and Haley Garza (1-for-1) each earned two RBIs.

Ashley Roberts was the winning pitcher, giving up three runs on five hits over four and two-thirds innings while striking out four.
