The Cyclones had some big hits but couldn't match the offensive output of the nationally ranked Triton College Trojans.

In the first game, Moraine Valley lost 14-6. Danielle Travis had a big day at the plate going 4-for-4 with a double in the first, second and sixth as well as a single in the third. The team had seven hits overall. Ashley Roberts started, giving up 14 hits and 13 runs over six innings while striking out one.

Game two saw big bats in the fourth inning from Zoe Supanich and Claire Minnich with singles plus a double from Lexi Udaykee. Abbie Wantroba and Travis also each collected one hit. Emily Gorski threw four innings allowing 12 runs on 10 hits while striking out three in the 12-3 loss.
