With nearly identical innings, it was anyone's game when Moraine Valley faced Elgin Community College. However, the Cyclones got the short end of the stick as they fell 11-10 in the high-scoring affair.

Every time the Cyclones scored the Spartans responded. Moraine Valley started scoring in the first inning, but it was the Spartans' walk-off in the bottom of the seventh after the Cyclones were leading 10-9 that ended the game. Danielle Travis had another big outing with a double and 2 RBIs. Brianna Dvorak crushed a two-run homerun while Zoe Supanich and Alexandria Palumbo each drove in a run.
