The Cyclones officially opened their season indoors at the NC4 Dome Jamboree in the Rosemont Dome splitting two. They lost 10-0 to Rock Valley College and won 15-10 over Joliet Junior College.

In the first game, the bats were quiet while the defense struggled. Pitchers Mariah Martinez and Liz McCuan pitched well and only allowed six unearned runs.

Although the defense allowed another eight unearned runs in the game with Joliet, the Cyclone bats came alive. Moraine Valley was able to jump out in the first inning with four runs. They added two more four-run innings in the fourth and fifth stanza for the victory.
