Nick Karczynski became the Cyclones men's tennis head coach in late 2024. He is an alumnus of Moraine Valley, having played tennis in 2018 and 2019. He was the No. 1 singles player on the team both seasons and was runner-up in NJCAA Region 4 in No. 1 doubles in 2018 and runner up in No. 1 singles in 2019. He competed at the NJCAA Men's Tennis National Championship in 2019 with three teammates.

Karczynski has coached tennis in Lockport and at the East Bank Club the last few years.
