The Cyclones finally opened their season with a 9-0 sweep of Sauk Valley Community College.

With a largely freshmen lineup, Moraine Valley was able to earn a handful of bagels and a win at each position. At No. 3 singles, sophomore Ixit Prajapati had two bagel sets (6-0, 6-0). At No. 2 singles, freshman Lukas Cepronas went into a three-set tiebreaker for his victory (4-6, 6-4, 10-4).
