In a career night by freshman Jelani McGregor, the Cyclones defeated Milwaukee Area Technical College in a solid performance, 103-88.
McGregor was on, besting his previous game-high (29 points) last month. The rest of the team followed suit, landing shot after shot.
When the teams first met in November, the Cyclones lost 102-70. They didn't want to repeat that scenario again. By halftime, the Cyclones were up 10 points and continued to lead the Stormers throughout the rest of the game despite Milwaukee's solid shooting. Moraine Valley shot 56.1 % from the field and went 13-for-29 from the three-point line.
McGregor went 7-for-10 from the three and had nine out of 12 free thows. Amarion Johnson added 16 points and seven rebounds while TJ Lee had 15 points and Deven Jiles added 10. Juvon Crawford led with eight assists.
