Cyclones end Morton's win streak

The Cyclones ended the winning streak of Morton College with a big 77-63 victory at home.

The last time these two teams met last month, the Cyclones lost by five points. After suffering a last-minute loss in their most recent game, they were ready for a meaningful win. The Panthers were on a five-game win streak with only one loss in conference. The Cyclones weren't willing to let that continue.

From the start, Moraine Valley jumped ahead. Although Morton went on a 7-0 run to take a brief two-point lead, the Cyclones had their own 10-3 run to regain control. At halftime, Moraine Valley was up 34-29. Throughout the second half, they extended their lead by double-digits for the win.

Jelani McGregor led the offense with 18 points. TJ Lee collected 15 points while Amarion Johnson had 11, and Deven Jiles and Juvon Crawford each had 10.
