
The Cyclones played a solid game against Rock Valley College but came up just short on the road.
It was a balanced effort from both teams, including four ties and the lead changing hands five times. The Cyclones only trailed by five at halftime and were unable to jump ahead of the Golden Eagles. Moraine Valley struggled from the three-point line (4-for-22) but was nearly perfect with free throws (14-for-15).
Amarion Johnson led the offense with 17 points, adding nine rebounds. Grantas Sakenis added 14 points and eight rebounds. Deven Jiles led under the basket with 13 rebounds and added nine points.
