Close start

A close start wasn't enough to get the Cyclones their desired result as they fell 89-76 to Joliet Junior College.

At the beginning of the game, the Cyclones were right in step with the Wolves, only trailing by two at halftime. However, a six-minute scoring drought in the second half put the Cyclones in a hole they struggled to recover from in enough time, leading to the loss.

Juvon Crawford led with 18 points followed by Jelani McGregor with 17 and Amarion Johnson and Deven Jiles with 10 each.
