The Cyclones had their work cut out for them in the NJCAA Region 4 semifinals as they faced the No. 3 team in Division II – South Suburban. They lost the battle despite their efforts.
Facing the No. 3 team with the No. 1 player in the nation was no easy task. The Cyclones pushed as much as they could, but it wasn't enough. They only scored 20 points in the first half to the Bulldogs' 45. Although they bounced back and found their rhythm in the second half, it wasn't enough to make up the deficit. Moraine Valley lost 97-66 to end their season.
"We finished this season the same way we started it, playing hard and playing together," said Head Coach Kyle Huppe.
Enari Thomas led with 16 points while Davion Lawrence collected 15 points and 13 rebounds. Frank DeCarlo added 12 points while Amarion Johnson had 11.
