It took some key scoring in the second half plus an overtime for the Cyclones to take down the Prairie State College Pioneers on the road.

For most of the first half the Cyclones trailed the Pioneers, but the score was tight the whole way. Moraine Valley trailed by two at halftime. They made some gains in the second half to force the game into overtime where they grabbed the lead and held on for the 77-74 victory.

Davion Lawrence had a big night with 19 points and 20 rebounds. Amarion Johnson added 19 points and grabbed seven rebounds while Enari Thomas collected 20 points.
