In a tough battle, the Cyclones were just edged out by the Morton College Panthers.

It was a second-half surge from the Panthers that the Cyclones couldn't stop while going hard on offense. Throughout the first half, the Cyclones fought for every point and led 37-32 at halftime. That advantage was short-lived as the Panthers pushed through the Cyclones, who were dealt their first loss of 2024.

Juvon Crawford led the effort with 19 points and seven rebounds. Enari Thomas and Javonte McKenzie each added 16 points while Deven Jiles collected 10.
