Rough outing in first matchup with Danville

The Cyclones suffered their first loss of the season against nationally ranked Danville Area Community College. They fell 73-54.

Moraine Valley knew they were in for a tough battle with the Jaguars, but ran out of gas. They struggled in the first half, going down 37-20, but improved their offense in the second half. The Cyclones cut the deficit down to seven at the nine-minute mark but lost momentum. They also went 2-for-22 from the three-point line and just couldn't make timely shots. Although they were dealt the loss, the Cyclones have another crack at Danville on Dec. 20.

Enari Thomas led with 17 points while Luis Acevedo had 11. Deven Jiles grabbed six rebounds, and Amarion Johnson amassed four blocks.
