Cyclones pick up win over Lancers

The Cyclones (15-3) continued to dominate the conference after a decisive 87-67 victory over College of Lake County (10-8).

Although the Cyclones started with a fast tempo, it took nearly two minutes before the first basket was made on a free throw from Anthony Taylor. The Lancers battled to stay within range and even took a brief lead after seven minutes. Taylor tied the game before helping his team regain a lead they never conceded after that. Moraine Valley continued to surge ahead while Lake County earned points largely on free throw. At halftime, the Cyclones were up 41-29.

The second half continued in the same way with the Cyclones stunting the Lancers offense. Taylor led the scoring with 21 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Kobe Adams added 17 points while Davion Lawrence had 10. Trace Williams earned another triple-double with 10 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists.
