It was a close matchup, but the Cyclones pulled out the 62-58 victory over Malcolm X College.

The first half actually saw the Cyclones chase the Hawks and go down 30-29 at halftime. They were able to regain some offensive energy in the second half for the victory.

Anthony Taylor finished with 14 while Taijon Barry and Kobe Adams each had 13 and Trace Williams scored 11. Taylor added 12 rebounds and Barry had 10.
