After a tough loss earlier in the week, the Cyclones were able to bounce back for a big 82-43 win over College of Lake County.
The Cyclones needed this win, especially with a couple starters out with injury. Jalen Levy and Ahmad Jarad each stepped up their game for 20 and 17 points, respectively, to keep their team in the win column.
Early in this game, the Cyclones were able to put pressure on the Lancers, forcing them into turnovers and easy baskets for Moraine Valley. By halftime, they were up 46-29. The second half really saw the pressure work, as the Cyclones held the Lancers to just 14 points while scoring 36 of their own.
Anthony Taylor continued putting plenty of points on the board with 15 while grabbing seven rebounds and earning three assists and three blocks. Trace Williams added 11 points and two steals.
