Cyclones hang with Bulldogs

Cyclones hang with Bulldogs

The Cyclones knew they'd have their work cut out for them when they faced the nationally ranked South Suburban College Bulldogs. They hung in there for most of the game, but ultimately fell 93-71.

Starting the game, the Cyclones came in with a lot of energy. They led by 13 points early on, but trailed 41-37 at halftime. In the second half, the Bulldogs picked up steam and showed why they are No. 2 in the country. They pressured the ball and had more pep on the court despite the Cyclones' efforts. Moraine Valley only trailed by seven with eight minute left in the game, but struggled to hang on or make additional moves resulting in the loss.

Kobe Adams led the offense with 26 points followed by Trevon Jones who had a double-double (13 points, 10 rebounds). Both Isiah Burd and Anthony Taylor scored 10 in the effort.
