Narrow loss in final seconds

Narrow loss in final seconds

The Cyclones are seeing a common trend in their last few games being determined in the final seconds. Their latest matchup with Joliet Junior College did not have the ending they'd hope for, however.

The Wolves were a tough challenge for the Cyclones. Early on, Moraine Valley was down but bounced back before halftime to go up 36-32. However, the second half saw some inconsistency and they allowed the Wolves to score 49 points. At one point, the Cyclones were down by 12, but cut it to three with 20 seconds left in the game. They just didn't have enough time to finish, ending with an 81-77 loss.

Kobe Adams and Trace Williams led the offense with 14 points each. Isiah Burd finished with 12 points and nine rebounds. Anthony Taylor earned a double-double with 10 points and a team leading 15 rebounds.
