Double-digit win at home

Double-digit win at home

It wasn't until the second half of the Cyclones' home game when they really found their groove and defeated Elmhurst University JV by eleven points, 90-79.

Both teams were working the floor in the first half, leading to a 36-all knot by halftime. Although Elmhurst scored first on free throws to get ahead first, that was the last time they led in the game. Moraine Valley forced a number of turnovers and was able to capitalize on scoring opportunities, especially Kobe Adams from the three-point line. He scored 27 points overall but was 5-for-6 from the line. He also had seven rebounds.

Trevon Jones contributed a double-double with 17 points and led with 14 rebounds, 13 of those on defense, and four steals. Isiah Burd had 14 points. Anthony Taylor and Trace Williams each had 11 points while Taylor led with seven assists.
