Cyclones pushing the limits in OT

Cyclones pushing the limits in OT

After pulling out a narrow victory over Milwaukee Area Technical College two weeks ago, the Cyclones pushed their latest matchup into overtime before falling 99-90.

This was another game that demonstrated the grit and talent of the Cyclone squad especially against a skilled opponent. The Stormers lost three in a row coming in, including the game with the Cyclones.

There was back-and-forth action most of the game with neither team taking a definitive lead. With 28 seconds left and a three-point lead, the Cyclones fouled the Stormers who had just scored and notched another bucket on the free throw to deadlock the score. The Cyclones then missed a contested shot at the buzzer, which led to overtime. Moraine Valley lost starter Christopher Harrison to injury and were running on empty in the OT, eventually losing the battle. Kobe Adams led the effort with 22 points while Trevon Jones added 18.
