In the ongoing battle for the Skyway Conference, the Cyclones' matchup with Morton College was not to be taken lightly. With only one win separating their Skyway records, they didn't disappoint as the No. 20 ranked Cyclones grabbed the 97-71 victory.
From the onset, Moraine Valley was strong, forcing turnovers, scoring and finishing the first half 54-27. Although they slowed down in the second half, they were still able to hold off the Panthers. Christopher Harrison led the offense with 22 points, including four 3-pointers. Jalen Hughes added 19 while Ryan Saunders was close behind with 18. Zion Fortune and Jalen Levy each had 10 for the night.
