This may not have been the prettiest win, but the Cyclones tacked on another one, defeating Joliet Junior College 74-67.

At their lowest point, the Cyclones trailed by 12 in the first half. Just before halftime, Zion Fortune and Vito Calace helped their team go on a 9-0 run to level the playing field. The second half was more productive for the Cyclones. Even under the weather, Jalen Hughes still scored eight points in the second half, finishing with 12. Trevon Jones had 11 points after halftime and 17 overall in addition to 10 rebounds. Ryan Saunders led under the basket with 18 rebounds. Dontia Johnson (14 points, 10 rebounds), Zion Fortune (11 points, eight rebounds) and Nathan Purcell (five steals) also contributed.
