Cyclones comeback for the win

Call them the comeback kids. The Cyclones not only bounced back from a deficit, but dealt Truman College its first loss of the season, winning 87-81.

Playing without their starting point guard, the Cyclones grabbed an early 10-2 lead until the Falcons turned on the offense, scoring 11 three-pointers in the first half. Going into the second half time, the Cyclones were down 52-37. In the second half, Moraine Valley had players step up to make offensive plays while the defense held the Falcons to just 29 points. It was a collective win for the Cyclones. Dontia Johnson (26 points, 10 rebounds) and Christopher Harrison (16 points, 10 rebounds, four steals) were big contributors in this game. Ryan Saunders also picked up a double-double (18 points, 11 rebounds) while Trevon Jones grabbed 11 rebounds.
