A victorious opening weekend

The Cyclones pushed hard in their opening games of the season at the Triton College Tournament Nov. 1 and 2, going 2-0 on the weekend.

The next day saw a nail-biter with Malcolm X College. It was a tough game, and a handful of Cyclones were dealing with nagging injuries, but they demonstrated their will to win. Hughes collected nine points and eight assists while Saunders banked 10 points.
