The Cyclones ended their regular season with a comfortable 86-77 win over conference rival Waubonsee Community College.

For most of the game, Moraine Valley held a lead, including the 43-35 advantage at halftime. They continued solid play throughout the second half to hold on to the win. Lawrence Pointer led the effort with 18 points followed by Elijah Ward (15 points) and Maurice Chambers (13 points, eight steals, six assists). Cortez King and Michael Drynan each had 11 points and seven rebounds.

With this victory, the Cyclones finished with a 9-5 conference record and 21-9 overall performance before facing Kishwaukee College in the Region IV quarterfinals Feb. 28.
