Slow going

Slow going

A slow first half was too much for the Cyclones to overcome in their narrow loss to conference rival Waubonsee Community College Chiefs.

It's never easy when Moraine Valley has to face Waubonsee, this game was no exception. The Cyclones were held to just 31 points in the first half compared to the Chiefs' 46. Once they found their rhythm and found their offensive, the Cyclones were able to tally 59 more points, but couldn't overcome the deficit, losing the matchup 94-90. Jalen Hughes led the effort with 23 points and Zion Fortune added 18. Da'Quan Dunn tallied six rebounds while Nicholas Holmes added five assists.
