In their first major test of the new year, the Cyclones (10-3) faced conference rival Waubonsee Community College (10-2) at home. With nearly identical records, it was anyone’s game, but the Cyclones showed why they are the leading scorers in the region, winning 82-67.

The Cyclones knew what they had to do to match wits with the fast-paced Milwaukee Area Technical College Stormers. They kept a tight rein on the Stormers but couldn’t get over the hump, falling 98-92.

The Cyclones ended their 2025 half of the season on a nine-game win streak after defeating Milwaukee Area Technical College at home, 85-65.

The talented and agile Cyclones were in fine form as they overwhelmed the Wright College Rams on the road in a dominant 89-32 victory.

It was a tough weekend for the Cyclones at the William R. Bear/Dimond Bros. Insurance Tournament at Highland Community College, Dec. 12-13. They faced some of the toughest competition they’ll face all year, going 1-2, but are better prepared for what’s to come in the new year.

The Cyclones collected their fourth straight victory with a solid 83-75 win over College of DuPage on the road.

Joliet Junior College was a formidable foe for the Cyclones, but once the offense lit up, Moraine Valley was in control. The men in green won the matchup 98-90.

In their sixth straight victory, the Cyclones continued their offensive streak, going 88-70 over Joliet Junior College at home.
Cyclones inch ahead of Trojans in final seconds
Always an exciting rivalry, the Cyclones’ battle with Triton College was no different, except unlike the last five years, Moraine Valley came out ahead this time.
