Moraine Valley is canceling its spring sports season in response to the comparable announcement from the NJCAA.

In response to recommendations from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention to help limit the spread of COVID-19, the NJCAA has decided to cancel all spring competition, which includes all practices, regular season, postseason and national championship play. Any spring sport student-athlete who was enrolled at Moraine Valley in 2020 will not be charged a year of participation. Additionally, all on- and off-campus recruiting for all sports will cease until April 15. The NJCAA will continue to assess the situation and recommend future steps for member colleges to take.

"We are focused on keeping our student-athletes and staff safe, and support the NJCAA canceling the spring sports season at this time of crisis in our country," said Bill Finn, Moraine Valley Athletics director.
