After three days, the Cyclones finished their first spring NJCAA Region 4 Tournament (April 28-30) in ninth place with one golfer taking a spot in the top 20.
At the Joliet Junior College Invite, the Cyclones faced two- and four-year colleges and universities, finishing seventh overall with two golfers taking two spots in the top 15 individuals.
Cyclones golf began their atypical spring season preparing for the Region 4 tournament with a round at the Sauk Valley Invite. Moraine Valley placed 12th overall, and one golfer earned fifth place overall.
On their home course at Cog Hill, the Cyclones were each able to put together a solid round of golf, good enough for third place. This was their fifth Skyway Conference match of the season.
Cyclones golf had an off day at Morton College’s home course at Ruffled Feathers in Lemont. Moraine Valley took fifth in their third Skyway Conference match.
The Cyclones competed in their first Skyway Conference match at Elgin Community College’s course in West Dundee. Moraine Valley took third in this first effort.
Cyclones golf opened their season today at the Highland 36 Invitational. After 36 holes, Moraine Valley finished in 12th place and one shot ahead of their conference rival.
