The Cyclones got one win closer to a Skyway Conference championship after defeating Morton College 3-1.

This was a tougher than expected match with the Panthers that went into four sets: 25-22, 27-29, 25-14, 25-23. Mary Zielinski led with 27 kills while Brooklyn Condon added 11 kills, 21 digs and two aces. Colleen Clancy contributed eight kills and two blocks, and Ava Pequette notched 44 assists, 17 digs and four aces.

As the season winds down, Moraine Valley has one final conference match to clinch another championship. But first, they'll spend the weekend in Iowa for a tournament hosted by Des Moines Area Community College.
