Small and mighty women’s cross country yields success in 2023
The Cyclones women’s cross country team started with one freshman runner last summer and ended with four All-Conference athletes, two of whom competed at nationals.

In the biggest race of their running careers – the NJCAA Division II Cross Country Championship – the Cyclones ran their best on an overcast, cool day at John Hunt Park in Huntsville, Alabama, with both women earning personal bests.

Decent times at rainy Bradley Pink Classic
The Cyclones ran all four women for the first time this season at the Bradley Pink Classic at Newman Golf Course in Peoria. Along the cold and muddy course, they pushed through for some decent times against mostly NCAA Division I schools.

Two Cyclones were healthy enough to run at the Gil Dodds Invite at St. James Farm in Warrenville. Both women PR’d among top-ranked NCAA Division III and NAIA colleges and universities.
Annabel Lipkie cruises through hilly Spartan Classic
With the Cyclones down to one runner due to some temporary injuries and setbacks, she was able to run hard in her first 6K of the season at the Spartan Classic on the Northwestern Medicine Cross Country Course in Batavia.
Cyclones open running season
The Cyclones opened their season on a warm night at the Saints Twilight Invite at Channahon Community Park. They didn’t have enough runners to score as a full team but had some solid finishes from their freshmen roster.
