Largely new team reaps season successes
With only one returning runner, the Cyclones had plenty of unknowns for the 2023 season, yet they captured a fourth consecutive conference title, earned honors and sent two runners to nationals.

The Cyclones raced their first 8K of the season at the Spartan Classic on the Northwestern Medicine Cross Country Course in Batavia. The men took sixth place overall without their full squad among some tough competitors.
Strong showing at Saints Twilight Invite
The Cyclones opened their season at the Saints Twilight Invite at Channahon Community Park. Although they didn’t have enough runners to score as a full team, they ran well in their first, and only, 5K of the year.
