When the Cyclones really needed a win, they came through. They topped McHenry County College in three tough sets to take the lone top spot in conference.

Both teams were nationally ranked at the start of the season and undefeated in the Skyway Conference, making this an important match. Although the Cyclones won 3-0 (26-24, 25-21, 26-24), they were down by four points in each one but made steady comebacks off of some key plays.

Mary Zielinski, just named NJCAA Division II and American Volleyball Coaches Association Player of the Week, led with 20 kills and three blocks. Lily Avelar collected 16 digs as did Brooklyn Condon, who added nine kills and four aces. Ava Pequette added 33 assists while Cayla Neville contributed four blocks.
