In their home opener, the Cyclones made quick work of the visiting College of Lake County Lancers.

The Cyclones only went three sets with the Lancers, winning each (25-20, 25-9, 25-22). Ava Pequette compiled 12 assists and three aces while Kaila Butvilas had 15 assists, 10 digs and five kills. Mary Zielinski added 11 kills and five blocks, and Colleen Clancy contributed five blocks in this victory.
