Fernando Alvarez joined the men's soccer coaching staff as an assistant for the 2022 season and also helps with the women's side starting in 2023. A Cyclone alumnus (2018, 2019), he earned All-Region and All-Conference first team honors as a sophomore while leading the NJCAA Division I in assists. He also briefly played soccer for Benedictine University.
