In a season full of big wins, the Cyclones needed one more to continue their run in the Region 4 playoffs. They came up short in their battle with Rock Valley College in the quarterfinals.

Both teams came out charging this game, but a few missteps saw Moraine Valley fall 3-1. The Golden Eagles scored early, but the Cyclones countered with a goal from Betzaida Lopez, assisted by Olivia Jeziorczak. Although they attempted a few more shots, the Cyclones could not net another one. Rock Valley scored again at the 25-minute mark and again a few minutes into the second half.

"I'm very proud of these young ladies. They worked hard and were very professional at all times," said Head Coach Javier Roman.
